LOVOO’s CEO Benjamin Bak resigns
The CEO of LOVOO GmbH, Benjamin Bak has resigned with immediate effect from the operational business of the company. The announcement was made by Benjamin Bak this afternoon in an address to the company’s employees in Dresden.
“My withdrawal from operations will lay the foundation for LOVOO to focus on the future”, stated Bak.
LOVOO GmbH will provide additional details about the new management structure in the near future.
On June 8, a search of the premises of LOVOO GmbH in Dresden and in Berlin had taken place.
The grounds of the search procedure were based on allegations from an anonymous source that were first made public in September 2015. Two of the company’s Managing Directors were taken into investigative custody from which they have been released after a very short time.
LOVOO GmbH has assured its full cooperation with the investigating authorities to provide full transparency and to clarify the accusations put forth by the anonymous source. LOVOO GmbH will continue to regularly report on the status as much as permissible.
